Part 1:
Trusting God Will Take You Further Than the Universe Ever Could
Introduction: The Creator knows His Creation.
God sent Jesus to live as a human in order to fufill His human creation. In His generosity, He gave us His only Son, allowing Him to face the wrath of this world. But Jesus didn’t just live and die solely to bear the weight of our sins—His life also revealed that God knows exactly how we work as human beings; we are reflections of Him; we are all creation. Through Jesus, God has given us the keys to both a fulfilling life here on Earth and an eternal life beyond. God created humans in his image to reflect his glory, but sin caused humanity to fall short of that reflection. Jesus’ life of obedience, sacrificial death, and resurrection are seen as a way to begin restoring the fullness of God’s image in people.
Every single lesson in the Bible is designed to make our lives better in every possible way. The commandments and laws weren’t given to us simply to “please” God—they exist because He wants us to live long, fulfilling lives. Every rule, every teaching, is inexplicably perfect (as God is), and even if we don’t immediately understand why in the lessons, they are all for our ultimate benefit as humans. If there is something in the Bible you struggle to agree with, it’s not because the Bible is flawed or outdated—it’s because there are barriers within yourself that you must overcome to fully understand the scripture, which is art in itself. Being a true Christian isn’t just about making God happy; it’s about living in the most optimal, fulfilling way possible during your time on earth.
There is not a single Christian value that, if applied to your life, will not radically improve it. God’s truth has remained clear and unwavering from the very beginning, and those who choose to live by it will experience its undeniable power.
My original experience:
For so long, I believed that God and my desires had to exist separately in my life. I devoured book after book about self-improvement, learning how to channel the power of the universe in my favour. I put so much faith in manifestation, convinced that I alone had the power to create my dream reality. But no one ever talks about the role God plays in achieving our desires when we allow Him to.
The problem with manifestation, as it’s commonly taught, is that it relies entirely on us and on our own abilities to shape our realities. In doing so, we not only take on the burden of creating our dreams but also end up idolizing ourselves as the force that makes it all happen. There are countless levels of manifestation, from the smallest desires to the grandest visions, and I’ve experienced many of them firsthand. Yet, every time I manifested something without God, no matter how much I manifested it, it always fell short in some way. It could never quite hit the perfect level as I had imagined; I had thought that that is just the way life is- that there was always going to be some sort of missing piece or flaw. Even when I got exactly what I manifested, there was always something falling short, subtle imperfections that left me feeling unfulfilled. Then, it finally clicked: I had been placing my manifestations on the world rather than on God. And if there’s one thing the Bible makes clear, it’s that nothing in this world is perfect—except for God. Humans are naturally flawed, and the world itself is imperfect. But God? He alone embodies true perfection.
Even those who seem to have it all—wealth, success, and fame—will always feel a sort of emptiness if their lives were built without God. There will always be a missing piece. Take, for example, those who chase riches and fame but find themselves lacking true love. They struggle to form genuine connections, surrounded by people who only seek to gain from them. The friendships they have are shallow, the love they receive is conditional, and deep down, they know it’s all an illusion. Without God, no amount of success can ever bring everlasting fulfillment in our lives.
The moment I realized this, my entire mindset shifted. Instead of striving endlessly to manifest my desires, I began to trust God fully, and suddenly, everything I had ever wanted started falling effortlessly into place. It was a long journey to reach this understanding, but now that I have, my life feels so undeniably satisfying.
So, how did I figure it out? I started connecting the dots between everything I had read about manifestation and the secrets of the universe, and I realized something profound: these so-called “secrets” weren’t new discoveries at all. They were simply repackaged versions of the promises God had already made to us.
As humans, we convince ourselves that we’ve unlocked some hidden truths about life, yet God has been telling us the same things from the very beginning—we just chose not to listen. We kept God confined to religion instead of inviting Him into every aspect of our lives. And that, I believe, is where our biggest mistakes begin.
Our Worldly Understanding Only Scratches The Surface of The Truth: Gratitude
One of the first lessons I connected between the world’s understanding of manifestation and biblical truth was the power of gratitude. We are often taught that practicing gratitude—being thankful for what we already have—creates the energy to attract even more abundance into our lives. Even when expressing gratitude for something we don’t yet have, we act as if we already do—aligning our minds with the reality we want to create. This is based on a simple principle: the mind cannot distinguish between what is real and what is imagined. When we visualize something with gratitude, it manifests into our reality. It has to—it’s a fundamental law of the universe.
But here’s the thing: this concept isn’t new. It’s actually one of the most basic lessons in the Bible. From the very beginning, we were taught to give thanks. Gratitude is not just a self-help trick—it’s the Intention of God.
“The Lord is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him.” — Psalm 28:7
“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.” — James 1:17
Gratitude is mentioned in the Bible 157 times, with the additional term “thanks” appearing 72 times. It’s not a coincidence—gratitude is one of God’s foundational intentions for us.
So, I put this into practice. I began expressing gratitude in all of my prayers, not just for what I already had, but for what I knew God would bring into my life. I thanked Him for the blessings I had yet to receive. And suddenly, the things I was thanking God for started showing up, doubled.
Funny how this is exactly what we understand as the Law of Attraction—the idea that what you focus on, with belief and gratitude, will manifest in your life; and that the more you express gratitude, acting as if you already have your desires, the more you will receive.
The Bible is filled with examples of people who were rewarded for their gratitude. One well-known example is the ten lepers healed by Jesus—yet only one returned to give thanks. That one man received far more than just physical healing—he was made whole.
Gratitude isn’t just a mindset; it’s a way of life. When we practice true, consistent gratitude, we shift our focus from lack to abundance. We move from worry to peace, from striving to receiving. And that is exactly the kind of life God intended for us—a life of joy, fulfillment, and unwavering faith.

God is the secret to life. No book, no human, no earthly wisdom could ever reveal the truth the way He does.
With love,
Miss Glow in Grace
